What makes CET.Calculators Different from others
CET.Calculators is a revolutionary product. First, it simplifies the traditional calculation process. Users only input some values and then carry out the complex calculation like finding the UFM forces for a gusset plate. Second, with compiled Javascript technology, Calculators are 6x faster than old ones and do not put much load on the server. Third, Calculators can provide 2d drawings, Latex math equations and many others. Its Standard display is showing nice equations, while its Markdown display will depict text and equations in Markdown format, which could be copied or modified by users and rendered in other software supporting Markdown files. Besides, CET.Calculators and CET.APIs share the same calculation core, Following picture is about the Member Axial Compression calculator
Is CET.Calculators a freeware? Or can I used it for free? Or does it have a trail period?
CET.Calculators is always free for academic or research usages. If you has a small business with yearly revenue less than 100,000 USD and employee numbers less than or equal to 2, you are free to use it.
Road Map
CET.Calculators currently focuses on steel design and will cover concrete, wood and bridge. Also, some structure analysis and finite element analysis will be added. For steel design, the plan is: AISC/Seismic (2024), code in Middle East and China (2026), Eurocode (2027), Canadian code (2028), Japan code (2029), Indian code (2030), and many others.
Basic usage
1 Calculator name is searchable
2 Switch between standard and Markdown dispaly
For some results, user can switch between “Standard” display and “Markdown” Display. In Standard display, equations and drawings will be rendered in nice format, such as Latex equations. In Markdown display, everything is pure text and users can copy and paste these text to other Markdown software. Of course, users can modify these texts. By this way, users can create their own reports and export to PDF format.
After user copy the text into Typora, it shows followings. And all contents can be exported to PDF file.
